Native to India, this wild, herbal plant has long fragrant, grass-like leaves from which the essential oil is derived. It typically reaches about one meter high.
Uses:
Palmerosa is used in cosmetics, soaps, and body care products to balance, moisturize and regenerate the skin. Useful in relieving sore muscles, stress, and chronic fatigue. It is tonifying to the digestive and intestinal tracts and is appetite-stimulating.
Directions:
Use in oil burner: add a few drops to water. Mix with water for use as hydrosol.

Possessing a sweet, floral scent, Palmerosa is a clear-colored oil with a thin to medium consistency. It is a middle note in perfumery.
