~ Eugenia Cariophyllata ~

Native to Indonesia, now cultivated in the Philippines, Molucca Islands, Madagascar and the West Indies. This slim evergreen grows up to 12 meters in height. Cloves are the corollas at the end of the rainy season.


Uses:

  • A premium mould buster, combine with alcohol then spray and wipe timber and leather furniture, shoes, belts, jackets etc. Blend with eucalyptus essential oil in room diffuser to help deal with airborne mould.

  • Clove is supportive; it aids the digestive system. Remedy sore gums by adding a small amount to a cotton bud and gently applying. Do not ingest! Rinse out afterwards.

  • Also works as an insect repellent.

Directions:
Use in oil burner: add a few drops to water. Mix with water for use as insect repellent

Oil Characteristics:
Pale to light golden color with a medium, slightly oily consistency. In perfumery it's a middle note and has a spicy, slightly woodsy aroma.
